View Full Version : How Does the DYNAMIC Campaign work exactly......???

Having played and Modded the Campaign Files of the previous two releases I'm curious if anyone has figured out exactly HOW the DYNAMIC Campaign works, exactly?

It seems very different to have specific branching Missions assigned rather than go to area XYZ and Patrol for X amount of time.

How does the Campaign change during the course of the war based on your actions or even change within a specific mission itself?

For instance if I go "HOG WILD" in a specific area off the coast of England will I see tons of DD's searching the area if I leave and come back after a time?

What about if I sink all the DD's I can off a specific Port, will it effect the total amount of the enemies DD's in that area or as a whole and just within that particular mission or the entire campaign?

Does your specific success/failure effect the outcome of the war and if so; How Much?

Thanks!

AI is a lot more responsive in SH5 than in earlier games. Neal's review has more info.
