Since the AI of the escorts changes dramatically while war progresses, I'd like to start my carreer later in the war. Playing your way through '39 and '40 every time you start a new career sucks.

Anyone found a way to do that?

I "believe" you need to go through a campaign to unlock all the seperate phases, so in future careers you can then start at any phase.

I'm not sure about this as im currently making my way through Happy Times.

Nope, the only time one gets access to the campaign tree is when finishing one. It's stupid and poor design. If you chose a campaign your'e stuck with it untill it's done. No choice whatsoever. Wonder what they were thinking. I hope that we get access to it when finishing the war so we can go back and replay the scenarios we want to. Anyone knows if this is possible?

Exactly, I was trying to start from Happy Times campaign when I finished Total Germany but not available.
This is really stupid decision... I would understand unlocking them one by one and then they would stay unlocked for new careers... But starting over and over again is just simply wrong.

Thank you for answering my question. Sad to hear you can't start an episode even when you've unlocked it. Let's just hope it will get unlocked by modding.

I thought the idea behind unlocking phases was sort of what they are doing in games Like Mass Effect 1/2, with the new game plus feature.

So once you finnish the game once, areas you unlocked are "startable" from a new career.

Has anyone finnished the whole game and tried starting a new career?

I've read on the web taht there is a way to start later in time,
but you need to mod several files.

PM me for details.

Not surprising, though. Most arcade games have this linear structure with very narrow parameters to them.
