SH III, IV & V Performance?

Just wondering if anyone could give me an idea of how the 3 Sub Sims would run on the following system I have ordered?

Operating System : English Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium (64 BIT)
Dell Studio 1749 : Intel i5-430M(2.26GHz) Mobile CPU
Memory : 4096MB (2x2048) 1067MHz DDR3 Dual Channel
Hard Drive : 500GB Serial ATA (7200RPM)
Graphics : 1 GB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650
Currently have an:-
Win Xp Home
Athlon x2 6000+
Redeon 4830 (512mb)
3.2 GB Ram
Any feedback would be great,

Bought a new car and another just on Order so held the PC upgrade but I was thinking the same makes my Nov 2004 system shout (I'm old) :rotfl2:

Before you purchase the system, I hope you're aware that the power cable must run from your house to Mattius's. He has total control over the electrical socket and the plug so there may be a certain amount of downtime your end when he wishes to dry his hair.

SHV might cause some problems, I do not know how heavily SHV requires CPU power. That aside everything else sounds great, SHIII and IV should not pose any problem at all.

On my system (specs in Signature) - Maybe you could use it as a reference point since I have no experience with your particular system. I noticed you are using a laptop though so my apologies if this does not help at all:

@ 2560x1600 resolution:

SH3 (at 1600x1200) : Smooth as glass.

SHIV (max settings @ 2560x1600 with 4xFSAA and 16xAF) : Smooth as glass.

SHV (Max settings @ 2560x1600 with max FSAA on): Mediocre

SHV (Max settings (sort of max......only shadows off) @ 2560x1600 with max FSAA on): Very smooth.

I have come to the conclusion, that at this resolution, the shadows are the only thing that seems to really diversely affect my overall performance. Shadows really hit my system hard with SHV. I have not tested on my other panel as of yet (1920x1080).
