Hi all

Recently I bought a new copy of SHIII that was non-starforce. got it all set up to my likings (GWX 3.0, SH3 commander, JSGME)... launched the game & was surprised to see at the start of the mission the words" the uboat..." Previously my game always loaded with the words "not so long ago".

I thought about it and left it at that. Then today I tried loading some diffrent mods. & found the old saying back again " not so long ago"....

My question is, does anyone have an idea as to why these two phrases would swap ? My only guess is its some mod that I enabled, but maybe im wrong?

If you've enabled any mods that change 'en_menu.txt' in the Data/Menu folder, that'll be your culprit. In case you are interested, open the file in Notepad, scroll down to line 961 and you can change it to whatever you want...

I changed mine to 'Or you could go out....'.

The original screen said "Initializing..."

Early on someone had a sig with a screenshot showing he had changed his to say "Fixin' To Get Ready To Start..."

"Not So Long Ago..." is the one done for GWX.
