Health nuts, beware! :D

What is your favorite junk food?

Mine at the moment is frozen burritos and/or chimichangas drenched in salsa verde. The more the better. Bon appetit!

Pre heart attack

Sausage gravy on fresh southern style biscuits, thick sliced bacon with scrambled eggs.

Post heart attack

Sausage gravy on fresh southern style biscuits, thick sliced bacon with egg beaters and,... a heckuva lot less often.

I love greesy all dressed burgers... Massive munching meat burgers... The ones that make the vegi's squirm... Fear not veggi fans, I like vegi's too like, lettuces and tomatoes with onions and garlic.. Herbs and spices...

Hmmmmm :D I can feel the cholesterol thickening my arteries.. oh ya... :03:

I always said.. The day I stop eating is the day I'm dead hehehe... :smug: hmmm Lets not forget to add Canadian bacon.. :yeah:

I try to stick to the four main food groups: beer, chicken wings, pizza and munchies with a defibulator standing by on the side.

BBQ season started last weekend!

Beer.

that is all.

I believe the definition of junk food is that it's food wrapped in throw away containers (Preferably on sidewalk, not trash can. Especially if you're drunk.) So you're drinking your beer from a paper bag maybe?

i would say my 3 favorite pig out foods...

1. Beer and hot wings. Specifically Buffalo Wild Wings with hot, hot bbq, and Caribbean jerk sauce with Killians Irish Red, Fat Tire Ale, or simply Miller Lite

2. Crawfish, boiled with corn, onions, peppers, lemons and potatoes with pretty much any ice cold beer. (I can literally make a day of this... fortunately only once or twice a year)

3. Fresh shucked oysters fresh out of a 50 gallon barrel until i just cant handle any more. (sometimes with Eds Red Sauce or Tabasco sauce, or home made cocktail sauce)

Lately, I am seriously addicted to wasabi peas (dried, crunchy green peas covered in wasabi paste). That + coffee is one hell of a way to get myself going in the morning. Having exactly that now.

Otherwise I'm a known chocaholic, however I've been good at keeping away. Really trying to watch what I eat since I'm quite the sloth when it comes to exercise lately (partially caused by having far too much desk work to do and never being done with it).

I love Indian pratas dip in their curry...the only problem is that they do not come cheap here or I don't know where to get cheap Indian pratas(Indian bread) here.

Pratas should not be pricey :D For God's sake they are extremely cheap delicacy elsewhere(usually taken as breakfast or in afternoon break)

I can eat loads of them...plain or with eggs. Yummy

How did we go from tasty bad foods to STDs again? :88)

On the really bad side of the spectrum as far as junk foods I like, it'd have to be the traditional Ukrainian "salo" - salted pork fat :dead: That + some Kvas (traditional malt-based beverage) = irresistable at the cost of a decade's worth of cholesterol

You know me and the effect I have on any given thread. Sorry.

Ok, back to the topic. Well, first I must say that I usually eat junk food when I have a hangover, so I must go with the traditional pizza with kebab, tuna, pepperoni & shrimps. *nom nom nom* :yeah:

I like kebab too, Afghani-style kebab is very good. Too bad where I live now the kebab variety isn't that great though.

English fast food that I liked were baguettes and fish & chips. Although I don't put vinegar (?) into my fish & chips.

Never had one to be honest.

Regarding the fish and chips.....I used to live in Holland and a Friday was traditionally the day that the works canteen put fish on the menu.

My cloggy/Dutch friends were amazed at me being the only one who insisted on having their fish fried.

I would often hear the remark "When I was over in your country I had to laugh because people would eat their fish and chips from out of a newspaper"

I would retort with "At least we cook our fish before we eat it" :DL

sad fact is, I dig fish and chips....from long john silvers. I'd prefer...well, authentic fish and chips, but I can't foot the cash for a plane ride to the UK.

but I think I use too much vinegar to actually taste the fish. ah well, to each their own, no matter how strange.

EDIT: speaking of strange check out those spiders in the post above. bleh

I don't touch junk food apart from the greek pizza shop here, cant bypass his meals yet they're pretty healthy pizza's anyways the pizza base is very thin and i dont ask for those calories fill sauces to be added. Im not big on junk food as in Mc donalds, KFC, Wendys, Burger king this food is sh*t and should be banned from the planet. Whats more upsetting is seeing parents feed their kids this sh*t. They're eating processed food. :nope: Heart attack or obese is what they will end up with.

When I lived in Pasadena, I loved to get Pastrami Cheese burgers with chili-cheese fries. The first is a double Cheeseburger with another half-pound of hot Pastrami on top of it. For all you Angelenos out there, try Topp's or The Hat. Topp's also served huge boxes of chili/cheese fries. Here in New Mexico, Sonic has an even better variation, chili/cheese Tater Tots. Yum-Yum. Better than Cheese.

When I worked in San Francisco, a local burrito palace chain, El Faro's, had great sex-aid sized burritos with Carnitas or Carne Asada. The BEST though, were on Fridays when they served Shrimp, Scallop and Crab Burritos.
