i have just recently started playing silent hunter 5. so far i think its incredible. i remember years ago playing a sub sim on my father old 286 computer as a young boy. my how the games have changed since those days. i am blown away by the awesome graphics. i almost feel sea sick when im on deck :)
i have been doing some reading up on tactics and what not on this site. tonnes of knowledge here. its just amazing. already i have like 100 questions to ask (im such a noob) but i will wait and not bombard yu all. one thing i do see alot is people complaining about the drm system i think its called. ya it sux for those who cant be logged in all the time to play. it sux for people who dont have internet connections. but look at this another way. what is ubisoft to do to fight piracy. art least there trying and at least there not sueing the pants off there customers (like in the business of music). take it with strides guys. so far i think this game is worth having to be online for. and i tip my seacap to games manufacturers trying to work with the customers instead of taking them to court for a million+ dollars just to feed there greed.
anyways i wont go on too much. i just wanted to introduce myself and say thank you to the webmasters and staff for giving us such an awesome resource site for sub sims.
:yeah:
now to figure out how to get my new sub out of the subpen without scraping the paint job and sinking just outside the pen. (yes i have done that)
