There is a new nvidea beta driver out that is the same as the last WHQL that was pulled for fan issues.
Only the US version is available but international comes soon after.
This is the same driver but with the fan issue resolved,I hope:woot:
Just go to the nvidea website and go to beta drivers.
Don't know if it improves SH5 performance.

Give it a few weeks before installing...better safe than melting cards.

Hmmmm yeah me thinks I'll wait this one out, I went back to 196.75 after the fiasco I went through with thos 196.21 drivers they put out.
All is perfetly well on my system at the momment and no fan issues, or any others so I aint fixing it cause it aint broke.

No doubt those last drivers melted my card. Everything was fine before and I loaded the driver and after about 3 hours screen goes black. Couldn't play for five minutes and screen went black....Then I found out the drivers messed up the fans and caused overheating, went to the nvidia forum and found that hundreds were complaining of fried cards. Course they offered nothing for ruining our cards. Got another one, things are fine, but I'll let others test these drivers.

That sounds like it would have been the perfect opportunity to tell Nvidia where they could stick it and go buy an ATI card... Seems like Nvidia's really been of its game lately. :hmmm:
