Well Ill start by saying that my ubi account name is Herr-Untergang for people that dont believe me but I've sunken over 920 000 tons already, and I was (not sure about now) in the top 50 orso. How 'bout u guys?

The Ubi Online log says really nothing about "merits". There are guys with more than 3 Million tons and as you can imagine to achieve this in 3 weeks, that is one million ton per week, would have been Doenitz dream.

The Online log does not say anything about realism settings and mods used, so people can be using arcade settings and mods with MK 48 and harpoon weapons :rotfl2:

All in all the Ubi Online log is just useless not even worth taking a look at.

I would love to be able to see under what realism settings each of those tonns have been achieved, or better, to have one Log only for captains using 100% realism settings, period.
That would surely draw my interest and recognition for those who fight hard the way it is.

(In no way I am meaning you are using arcade or cheats, just that the way it is now, numbers means abosultely nothing)

Yeah without an indication of realism settings, its not really of much use.

I've racked up around 1.2 million tons I think. About 40% realism, I don't like dud torpedoes. ;)

No weapon nuke mods. :DL

This mean nothing. heck with the mods that increase the deck gun damage so you can sink ships with 1 hit etc. Tonnage sunk means nothing, even if its tied to realism settings. (because of the ability to mod the game).
The leaderboard is the most useless thing i've ever seen.

I'm in Oct. 1940, and im dang near 1.5 million tons.

If i keep running into unescrorted convoys like this.. the war will be over by christmass.

I used to check the ingame leaderboard, but after seeing some of the "New and Improved" mods here, I dought that the guys with 5 million tons are legit.
My self, I have the unreal amount of 700,000 tons.....early 1940. i wish this aspect of the game was more real.

Edit: I'm Aaron Nelson, the Sh series is the ONLY game where I use my real name to play.
I do it out of respect for the Men that did go to sea and never came back to port.

When you see high tonnage, it just shows how silly and arcadish the game is. When you see tonnage that reflects history, you know they got it right.....

one patrol i managed to sink over 180k , overall im on about 900,000 and still in early 1940
