What torpedo to select?

I have finally advanced enough in a campaign to have a selection of torpedos. Just wondering what the best one to select is, I am not too concerned about the Renowned cost.

Available are: M10, M14 (my current version), M23 and M 18.

Although they have a very short range, the electric fish leave no bubble wake as the steam fish do, so they don't give your position away. You just have to get real good at getting close before firing. And slinking away without getting detected.
