I was wondering how Kiwi ISP users are fairing with the UBI authentication servers.
Have you had many outages and not been able to play?

Anyone think the outages the servers are havign may be location dependant?

only had SH5 since Sat. not had any probs yet.
I would imagine Ubi have a few servers dotted around the globe. And maybe the server that kiwi's get hooked upto arnt being DDoS'ed.

I would think that it's more a case of less people using them, rather than a lack of attacks. If the server is close to NZ, which it must be, I doubt there are as many people connecting to it, when compared with the US/EU servers.

I don't buy Ubi's finger pointing, it's all too convenient.

:)Had the game since 5 March and not once have I had a problem with connecting. I am with Vodafone broadband.
I have played this game ALOT since getting it and at diff times and days and have NOT encountered anything at all. Reading all these server down stuff at UBI on these forums has been a surprise to me really, I have been like 'Oh really?'
How have the other Kiwis found it? I am in Auckland

I have also had the game since the 4th downloaded from gamers gate and no problems

Yeah I also downloaded my version thru steam. I wonder if d/l versions are maybe more stable?
would be interested to know from others in NZ who maybe got a disk, see if they have connection issues

Had problems as well getting on Ubi - should only need to log on once a week or so like other games
