My internet plan just got slowed to 64kbps

My silly housemate just downloaded too much stuff and now my internet is too slow to launch to UBI's servers.

That was the worst idea ever!

Yeah i should check it out. Maybe some of "Gossip Girl" involves Uboats in the atlantic... bah.

I'm pretty sure i'm justified at being pissed now. At the housemate, and at the $100 game i bought but can't play. seriously, offline use should be a mandatory requirement of all software; i just don't see how its fair.

i'll go read a book.

you should still be able to play the historical missions offline, its only the campaign (and mulitplayer) that needs a constant connection.

I've been running (and am still at) 64kbps even before I bought the game.

Besides waiting the long 2 or so hours for the patch to download and update before I could play the game, I've had no problems with slow speeds and UBI's servers.

I have however, turned off 'online saved games' from the get go...

Just thought I'd reply, in case the problem is not slow speed related.
