Witch crewmember yu think its the most important? by that i mean where yu put the talent points in the beginning of the war. I prefer to have a good working crew that are loading torpedoes and the sound guy for the attack, for survival its most important to have the boat floating, but keep the engine runnings, ruffly sayed...
Can yu put this in yur own words where yu put yur talent points, and why?
Thanks:salute::)

The cook :smug:
Because without his special meal skill you would be hosed after loosing all your morale after a saved game.

Well, apart from the morale soup, your engine man will be able to increase your speed and it's a passive ability, so only one point per level. You can get up quite some speed (and save fuel if you are playing with limitted fuel) with your engine man properly sorted out.

Fully upgraded in a VIIc at Flank... sorry EXTREME speed gives me 24-25knots on the surface and 2 knots in silent running instead of 1.
This next part will depend on if you run the morale mod or not
If you do, then put it in the passives that help the crew, IE sonar, radio, gun accuracy etc.
If you don't run the morale mod, then first and foremost should be the morale. You can't do much without morale, heck they won't even man the deck gun lol

Thanks, i am not totally lost after all. The cook i give points to very early, but i meant the talents beside moral (sorry, forgot to say). Important for example combat, torp attack. I reallised that its useful to have a good gunner because unprotected convoys i find it good tactic not to use up torpedoes, but just a few per boat to disable them or make them go very slow, and finish them off with some shells.
I was in navy myself many years ago so i know the value of a good cook.
Belive it or not, but on my boat we got a very popular gourmet-cook (who had not done hes military service). No one was eating out the weekends my boat was doing squadron watch.

Yes, i have give engine man some points, for speed, but i will also priority the points to run silent, "sound coating" or someting....
I play 100% realism

After the cook... :yep:
Yes then I put points into the engine men, then i pump some points into number one which is supposed to recude morale decay, then the sound guy, lastly the torpedo crew to give me those uber splosive torpedos level 2 :doh:
