It's a pretty average card for today's standards, but something you'd find in a mid-high range laptop 2 years ago. It's perfectly reasonable to expect people still using such cards as some are on tight budgets and can't get the latest stuff. 1up has always been the average gamer's voice and this guy has grips with the decisions ubi made.

He does have a point though, SH5 is a real hog while not really rendering anything spectacular. Load times are pretty long and the FPS inside the uboat are plain horrendous. On the contower it's not so bad.

But mostly he's ranting about the drm, which is valid. Overall it's not a bad read.

Ranting, really? Hmmh... Didn't he state that he just cannot review SHV because the DRM doesn't not allow him to give it the attention it deserves since it doesn't allow him to run it reliably?

That sounds like a pretty sound, unbiased statement that actually protects SHV a bit. He could as well have simply ripped it apart as so many others did, likely biased and induced by the DRM, but he refrains from doing so. Sounds more like a fair move!

Thread title is misleading - he states that he has not reviewed the game. When he does review it, I'd be interested to see what he says about it.

I do believe to give the game a fair shakedown tho, at least run it on minimum specs.:yep:

Imo if your going to be an Internet Game Reviewer you, should have a HighEnd Rig. To meet the Posted Game Specs.
