Watch crew spotting ships while submerged

Last night I played and submerged to 60 feet and the watch crew still periodically said "Smoke on the horizon" and gave bearing info.

Anyone else noticed this?

I guess this is another bug not picked up during the extensive pre-release testing!!!

Did you use the sonarmans ability "reveal all" ?
If you do he treats every contact as visual. Though they should have fixed the "smoke on horizon" message when the sub is under water.
