OK,Just recieved SHV DVD via FedEx from GoGamer,I really didn't know anything about the DRM issue when I ordered but anyway, that's my fault.
I installed the game, and then tried to play, right away it downloaded and installed a patch/update, Ok fine, then I tried to play again, after 5min of watching that thing spin around I got a message saying "Internet connection needed to play the game"......????????? How did I just download/install a patch if I have no internet connection??
What am I missing here? HELP!!!..........SOS!!!!!

It's not your connection..... It's UBI's.
Sounds like Ubi's servers are still having problems.... I dont have the game yet, so cant confirm this..
Wether its a DDoS (as Ubi say) or a VIPDoS. Has still not been proved.

This is not a solution to the problem, BUT it might help you.
Sometimes cookies and left over Temp. files can mess up connecction, like passwords at some sites when you try to log in and some old cookies are hanging around. Clean and see if that helps.
Though, UBI's servers have been "messed up".

Thanks for the replys guy's I deleted all internet cookies,No Dice!! Still no play! I'm Bummed:nope:
Make sure you have an exception through your firewall to allow UPlay (Ubisoft's DRM browser) to access the internet.
Yeah my guess is a firewall problem too - remember you might have a firewall running on your computer AND on your router and either one could cause an issue.
The quick way to test is to disable all the firewalls and see if it runs - of course this is only recommended for a few minutes to determine if one of the firewalls is causing a problem.
