Ok gentlemen, have you had a look at HAWK from Ubisoft? Well, what do you tell me if SH people lead a completely new project? Imagine a global game with all land-sea mass depicted, ports, cities, airports,an active online weather engine. The game itself could be called CVBG or something like that.CVBG stands for Carrier Battle Group, and the main focus would be the Supercarrier surrounded by its scorts and support vessels. So,lets say a start is developed with CVBGs from the USNavy and Russian Navy,an open range of controllable ships with their systems, weapons and airwing. From here, more Battlegroups could be developed from other Navies to reinforce the multiplayer scenario experience, even more, once many actual ships are introduced another designs could begin on the shipyards introducing new architecture, systems and weapontry.
Can you imagine all that multiplayer environment? Give to the players the chance to conquer the seas and writte the modern history?

Wow, that sounds ambitious!!!!

To have such a big, international game running sounds like a mayor achievement. I bet it would happen sometime after we find a cure for cancer
and my grandchildren taking their space-vacation :D

...only kidding... mostly about the space-part :DL

Personal opinion, of course.

I would like to see these guys do a cold war nuclear sub sim that is reminiscent of Red Storm Rising. Technical but with good playability.

I think Ubisofts next title should be a sing along voice trainer called "Singing with the Stars from American Idol". With the feature song "My achy breaky DRM by Vanilla Ice"

But seroiusly, that would be nice. I had been thinking something similar except a WW2 flavor. Tie in an over Grand strategy with many people in control and real people living in pre/ww2 era towns ala the sims (yes stupid but someone would like) have some type of economy, Have people in charge on different HQ levels giving orders and then the RTS guys telling the FPS guys in squads or squad leaders where to go. And people flying cargo or troops like FSX/FS9 , people in tanks subs, planes as in sims with multicrew available, heck even a truck sim for supplies, and ship sims for cargo (to long to sit and do it though, be in charge of a bunch give orders on paths to follow, check back.) Have defined reward scoring so it all has purpose. But yeah doubtful if we will see anything like that. I think the physical time and timing to make it work would be to hard.

We cant even seem to get a decent mp Destroyer and Sub sim tied together as we were supposed to have years ago. (Oh wait we would need a decent sub sim before mods for that to work)

I thought about it before. I want to see a game that mix of silent hunter, il-2, arma and t-34 vs tiger based on a world map. But its to much team work and takes years to complete i think so. I will talk it with my mod team in next 3 years. Anyway already sounds impossible.

After this fiasco, I'd be surprised if many people on here purchased another Ubi title. If OSP is now standard practice, I know I won't.
