Was wondering if anybody has the demo? The most fun I've had on a game for a long time :up: The sheer satisfaction and coolness of jumping onto the roof of a speeding vehicle, grappling on to a helo, shooting the co-pilot, punching the pilot and hijacking it is awesome :arrgh!: Fun fun fun!

I have the 360 demo and the Ps3 demo. Guess which of course is better. :haha:

(Answer-Ps3 It's a lot more sharp and attractive looking)


I posted the following about it in the Bit of news topic.

I just tried the Just Cause 2 demo, which I still ponder the meaning of the name, is it Just Cause, as in something that you should do because its "just" or Just cause, as in you're doing it just cause you can. :hmmm: Anyways I digress. The demo is awesome, it plays just like any good action movie, although realism is non existent.
Mostly because you have a Grappling hook you can use to pull yourself onto moving cars/ buildings/ aircraft/ boats/ people. You can also use your grappling hook to grapple to objects together. Such as a grappling a bad guy to a helium tank, which you then shoot, causing the tank to fly away, Think Half life 2, dragging the poor guy away, and then it explodes :haha:
You also have a parachute you can open and close at anytime.

The graphics are pretty good for a Sandbox, and I didn't see any slowing in framerate, despite blowing up a gas station, some gas pipes, and many other things. My only gripes come are the fact that the parachute controls are loose, but you get used to it. And the voices, you're on a south east Asian Island, so off course all the Asian voices are stereotypical, same thing with the Hispanic voices.



I went into gamestop today and payed the game off so I can pick it up after work when it comes out. :up:


Gameinformer gave it a 9/10, says its a worth buy just for the gameplay. The only cons are the voice acting, and the story isn't really great until the end.
