Patch 1.4b wont load...help please.

Hi all,

Just got SH3 , however I cannot get patch 1.4b to load. I've got the Revival version of SH3 from play.com. I keep getting a message telling me that the missionengine.dll is an unknown version. Any clues?

Oh yes. I've just spent the day reinstalling XP so the system should be clean.

You have the newest version. It won't take the patch because it's already patched. Start it up and look at the lower right-hand corner of the loading screen. It should say 1.4.

Aha! Does that mean I don't have the Starforce thingy?

Also, as I'm new to sub sims, should I have a go with this version first or should I dive straight in and install the Grey Wolves mod?

Yes, no Starforce in your version. I would at least play through the training missions to get a feel of the sim, then if you feel ready, go for GWX 3.0.

I pissed of a teacher when I got all my friends to pretend that we were in das boot on top of desks in the middle of our classroom. We knocked down a table, broke 3 chairs, and crash dived a binder, nearly destroying our teachers prometheus ( pretty much a big I-pod touch screen) board in half. We didn't get in trouble cause we got permission from the principal, as it would "be interprative learning about history"
