DanFrasers Game Mover?

Hi All,

First post - been lurking a while. I've found answers to all of my questions so far following a little searching hence no posts yet.

Anyway, I wonder if anybody can help I'm looking for the above application ref. the following post: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=139103&highlight=mover

Or if anybody has any suggestions - I'm trying to run SH3 with dual monitors, using the second monitor for browsing or recognition manual etc. My problem is that when run full screen, SH3 minimises as soon as I click on anything else. Run in windowed mode, the window is too small unless I change screen resolution first (a bit of a pest). Plus still can't quite use full screen height in windowed mode. The above application seems to offer a solution. I can live without sound when SH3 is not the active window - although that would nice to fix also....

Sorry for the no reply, lol!

It would never work, SH3 does some weird voodoo that never allows any form of resizing, without the res fixes which sometimes don't work anyway. Kind of like a few other games that refuse to accept resolution changes such as LOTRO. I've got it working ok with changing resolutions on some games in certain circumstances but it's so much pot luck on it working it's not worth it.

Just do what I do. ctrl+alt+del, it obviously doesn't work most of the time, after that push that sleep button on your keyboard and wake up. Now it should work. If not alt+tab into sh3 and alt+tab out and it will work. At least it does for me :yep:


BTW DanFraser the link is dead. Could you provide a new one ?

It should be updated in standard CCP 'soon' format. With the extra options and code it needs a massive re-write and re-design.
