View Full Version : how to show harbor in mission editor?

hi ,everyone, i want use mission editor to create my own mission, so i want to create a mission which aim is attack harbor. So could any one tell me how to show harbor icon in mission editor? I remember in SH4 the method is use merge command in File, but i can't find the same in SH5.

Unfortunately I haven't found a way either..
Makes me wonder how the devs placed the docked ship nodes in the first place..

the way to do that before was after the editor was open you select add layers (or something like that) to open the campaignLOC file found in the campaign folder and it filled in all the mission editor ports


not sure if you knew that or if sh5 is different, i havent gotten the game yet so i cant test this

Add the file data/terrain/LocationMaps/editor_locations.mis to the project you're working on.

Guys, to see the harbor maps, (which are .dds files btw)
remember you have to zoom in and turn on "Map Location Edit Mode", it's the icon under the Cut-Copy-Paste icons.

If you want to add harbors, you will have to do it in-game, search the Mod section for the harbor/terrain editor.
