Along with the other garbage getting posted on the site; let me add this.
Hypothetically: Neal creates the new premium members section. He charges only $5 per month and .05 per post. The premium section is permitted to discuss anything that is now permitted freely.....
The General Members section is not permitted to mention the words DRM, crack, piracy, illegal, or any additional words at Onkle Neals discretion.
If the General Members violate the laws, Neals automatic word scanning computer immediately "Brigs" them.
The immediate benefit to this new "Premium Members" section is reduced server load and increased revenue for Subsim reducing current overhead.
I believe everybody will be joining so they could continue dishing trash as we are all creatures of habit.
The rest of us can stay in the free section saving money as the whiners pay for Subsims operating costs.
PS: Neal you can send my 2nd coffee cup to the same address.

At .05 cents a post, Jimbuna would run out of beer money in approximately 1.3 days. And then he'd be posting sober, people.
I don't think anyone wants to see that.
:O:
isn't the whole point of forums that you want people to post more, not less? :hmmm:

You have to remember that us good saints get to stay in the free section.
What we'd need to do then is set up a new sub-forum where for every post you would donate .05 cents to Jim for beer money. Then balance of the force would be restored :|\\

Only on the condition that every time Jim accidentally replies to something posted there, he forfeits the .05 he would've gotten for the post he replied to.
At the end of the month, he'll owe us money!

:hmmm::hmmm::hmmm: 1409posts/4 months = $70.05, not bad for Neal, but you should get a free set of mugs for spending that kind of money........As far as Jimbuna goes, the psychological damage it would cause would be devastating, however Neal could give your types volumne discounts but you may have to give the mugs back.........Speaking of posting, who holds the record for the most posts?................I just figured out why "frau kaleun" bought that intimidating avatar..........The issued ones would change so fast that no one would recognize the "frau".

Jim's at 30,000+, I think. Don't know if that's the record, but I don't remember seeing a higher post count.
...
I just checked and did the math. If I could maintain an average of 105 posts a day starting now, and Jim stayed at his current post-per-day average, I could overtake him in about a year. :O:

Amnyone ever get the balls to try to make a v2 rocket mount for the front of a type 7c? i dont mean the tow behind pod idea though that would be cool.... but a v2 and a mission to launch one at new york or somthing would be cool im not a programmer i just have the ideas lol

There were experiments on putting V1s on subs. A V2 would be too heavy and complicated.
Despite what the programmers put in SE5. :D

https://the-wanderling.com/hoover17.jpg https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/threads/launching-v2-missiles-from-submarines.1402602/& https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rocket_U-boat Once in the firing position, the container's upper ballasts would be remotely emptied to reorient it from its horizontal towing position to its vertical launching position, with its bow emerging about 5 m (16 ft) above the surface. The container was stabilized using large rudders and was steered by a gyroscopic system. A three-person service team would leave the submarine in an inflatable boat while the firing control unit remained on board the submarine.[53] The operators would open a hinged lid at the bow of the container to access to a servicing platform and connect the container to the submarine to power it. They would prepare the warhead and fuel the missile with liquid oxygen, ethanol and sodium permanganate for the turbopump from fuel tanks located in the container. The missile was prepared for launch from a service room located beneath the missile chamber. The V-2 would have been guided by rails and the empty space would accommodate the ballasts. The exhaust jet was deflected 180° using collecting funnels so the jet could exit upward. This deflection would reduce the rocket thrust and its radius of action of a sea-based V-2 rocket, requiring the u-boat to come dangerously close to the coast. The armed missile would have been ready to launch 30 minutes after reaching its firing position. After the launch, the container could be abandoned or towed back to the base.
Initial calculations showed at any one time, a U-boat could tow three submerged containers at periscope depth and at a speed of 5 kn (9.3 km/h; 5.8 mph) An attack on US targets would require a 30-day journey to the launching position at an average speed of 10–12 knots (19–22 km/h; 12–14 mph).[21][28] Type XXI U-boats, with a range of 15,500 nautical miles (28,700 km; 17,800 mi) at 10 knots (19 km/h; 12 mph) surfaced and 340 nmi (630 km; 390 mi) at 5 knots (9.3 km/h; 5.8 mph) submerged, were considered to be ideal submarines to perform such attacks on the US.
Problems in the development of the V-2 delayed this project until November 1944. In January 1945, Dornberger submitted over a hundred detailed draft designs.[21] A 300-ton prototype was built by Schichau-Werke GmbH.[45] At the beginning of 1945, successful underwater towing trials were carried out with U-boat 1063. Alas! poor U-1063 sholuld have stuck to rocket science;:shucks: it was sunk on its first war patrol 15 April 1945 in the English Channel east of Land's End, south of Bigbury, Devon, in position 50°08′54″N 03°53′24″W, by squid depth charges from the British frigate HMS Loch Killin. 29 of the crew were killed, there were 17 survivors. She lies at a depth of 58 metres (190 ft). Required viewing::Kaleun_Binocular:https://youtu.be/wHUCV_EDOFI
