yesterday i was doing the mission were you drop off the spy somewhere in china, so i dropped him of and got ready to head back to port,
but as soon as i returned back a warship spots me and starts chasing me from behind, i only had 2 torpedos left , and it was shallow water so i coulnd dive, so the ship was getting veryclose, i fired the 2 torpedo"s at the ship, i hit him in the front 2 times, wich dint sink him
and all of a sudden the warship changes course and runs away:nope:
is this a glitch?

If it was a "normal" warship (as in not a destroyer and no depth charge capabilities) then it probably intended to ram you. However then you severely damaged it's hull so it decided to turn tail and run.
That's just my guess. I haven't experienced it myself and don't claim to be an expert on the game. I did have a tug boat once try to run me down.

I have had this happen. You damaged him and prob disabled fighting abilities so ran.First time did a down thr throat shot on surface with stern tubes like you because couldnt dive, both ran deep but it was 43 so still had magnetic exploders on, one blew up under him, didnt run as deep.Turned tail and ran and it was a destroyer of some type.Other time I had an aux subchaser coming in to ram me when caught me on surface, opened fire with aft AA gun, 20 MM.Raked the forward gun crew and bridge, guess I killed them because they never fired more than a few shots and none after I let loose with the 20 MM spray.I made evasive move and they didnt turn to ram, just sailed on in strait line, aft guns fired at me but never hit.Oh yea, another time I fired at a DD, one torpedo exploded just underneath the stern, didnt set off depth charges but suspect it damage its rudder, it kept sailing in sam edirection but pinging, couldnt come after me.
Yep, something like that happened to me too..... he left after taking some damage but after a while he came back with some of his buddies to look for me. It was the strangest thing.
Happy Hunting!
