Just in case anyone is looking out for Silent Hunter for their iPhone or iTouch, it is up on iTunes now.

It isn't listed as Silent Hunter 5, or Silent Hunter Battle of the Atlantic, simply Silent Hunter.

£1.19 (introductory price), so would be rude not to at that price.

203Mb, so a fairly hefty download.

I downloaded this App a few months ago. Since there are no other Sub Sims for this device I am not going to complain. The Silent Hunter App does use a lot of battery power. put the playability is O.K.

I would like to see Silent Hunter II ported over to Iphone/Ipod-touch or better yet, Android. I would pay big money for that. The platform of Android and Apple Iphone/Ipod-Itouch---Ipad has been greatly ignored by the Submarine comunity. Some of my favorite Sub sims were written to run on much simpler computer systems then we have now. They could be some money to be made if they were re-compiled for the touch screen devices we carry around with us.
