Sorry I have had a good look and couldnt seem to find the answers to there simple questions - I might be being a bit dumb but:

1) How can you adjust rudder? or direction without using map or "bearing to view" i.e the compass in SH3 / 4?

2) I have German voice loaded at install which is great except although I get subtitles in some bits (begining of tutorial) i noticed there was a lot of dialoge not subtitled expecially when docking at Keil eg. When arriving in the pens it jumps to a cut scene with a captian talking lots but no subtitles ??? any ideas?

3) It seems that dispite my selecting a custom difficulty in options ie. all real except for external views . I then selected medium in the campaign and it has overode what i thought was the global settings? Are the main menu settings for MP or how does it work?

1. There are already some interface mods up to help with this, eg
http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showpost.php?p=1293788&postcount=1. Have a look in the mods section.

3. Hit Esc in the sub pen. Then you can change settings before you go out on patrol.

Can't help with 2, but someone will be along.

2) Learn German! :) I'm a little disappointed there's not subtitles for everything, but it's all good.

3) When you're in the subpen before heading out on patrol you can ESC and set the realism settings then.
