Ubisoft Patches

One Question which concerns me is this-----Are Ubisoft intending to release patches or upgrades automatically via the internet connection without forewarning us . My concern is that if we have modded various features and are unable through lack of warning to remove these before a patch , it is likely to result in conflicts and confusion that will be difficult to sort out.
Is there any info re Ubisofts intentions re patching and upgrading methods in this new "connected" SH5 world.
It would be very helpful to know how they are going to deal with patches etc Thanks for any insights/info....

BTW I noticed a patch to the launcher itself tonight.

from what I can tell the D2D version does not auto patch.

the launcher does, but the game itself doesn't seem to.

I had to manually run the GameUpdate app in the SH5 directory to get patch 1.1.5 on my machine, D2D currently only offers the 1.0.5 installation package.

yup, it automatically downloads, then waits for you to press OK to patch, giving you time to unmod :)
