Amusing bug: ship literally blown out of the water...

...100 feet out of the water! This magical levitation act is observed after being torpedoed in a shallow harbor.

Finally able to document this bug I mentioned in an earlier thread...thought I'd post here for those who need a laugh today.

Thank god they upgraded the generator later in the war... :yeah: although it didn't came in time to prevent Pearl Harbour.
The improvement of the bouncy-bouncy secret weapon was the real reason with so many U-boats got destroyed. The "sunk by depth charges" typical bogus was used in order to secure the secrecy of such terrible weapon. U-boats couldn't sunk any ship and the crew morale was so low that the the sailors decided to stopped doing their duties. The U-boat captains were unable to avoid crew strikes, not even by repeatedly talking to them about their wives, and they inevitably had to sunk themselves in order to avoid the shame and the wrath of the mighty Gestapo treason related questions.

As you can see, all this is replicated in the game... SH5 is the most historical accurate game until now. :salute:

When this happens, instantly make an immelmann followed by a chandelle to the right, barrel roll on his 6 and then you can nail him.

Edit: Only works with Willi Pelz hyperdrive.

I had that with a merchant that had hit the banks right near the locks at the mouth of the Kiel Canal. This one broke in half when it blew and only the stern went airborne. Quite amusing :)
