Hey guys need a little help here if possible please ..... when using my TDC i can get things done except I dont know how to work out Angle on Bow for firing. Do I set the angle on bow to the ships position as i see it through my periscope or am i supposed to guess where it will be when i fire and the torpedo hits it at a specific point ... sort of 'deflective shooting'?
All the best and many thanks

When I setup the 90 degree T shot, I first move the periscope to read 0, then set AOB to 90 or -90 depending on the direction the target is moving.
After that AOB updates automatically based on my periscope direction apparently. I just shoot at 350/10 and it hits around 0.

My god, we really need a VAST tutorial to explain these things again.... :haha:
Read the first pages of this doc. It will explain the relation between the AOB and the Bearing. (i hope)

PS. I've just realized how many typos I've made... "It's bearing?!" What was I thinking?! :har:

For aob, I explain it like this, ask yourself how many degrees from the bow a crew member on the targets bridge has to turn to look directly at you, that is the aob.
