Just got a new ASUS UL20, upgraded the RAM to 4GB, and (just for the halibut) installed SH4 1.5 w/ TMO and RSRD.
One thing ASUS does is partition the hdd into a OS and data drive. So I made sure SH4 was under the data drive. I didn't honestly expect it to work.
This thing runs!
It looks a little choppy on mouse movement, but everything else runs fine. Explosions are smoother than my desktop. This is actually going to be fun. Since it's not SH5, I can actually play when I want to.
I had to remap a couple keys. I've seen tons of questions about the numpad-period (make the hud disappear) but no answer on how to re-key it. Has anybody done this? I want to man AA guns, it's the only thing I can't do.
