2 bugs im wondering about

1:

In the sub pen and occasionally in the boat, the entire screen will go black and everything seems to reset. i think it is some glitch that has to do with the lights. I notice that the lights all seem to still produce light but stop casting light on objects just before this happens.

it only happens sometimes.

2:

I torpedoed a merchant ship, Surfaced the boat to finish it off with the deck gun. but the watch crew never came up. I decided to submerge and try again... same thing.

i finally gave up and sailed home with a bare watch tower.

about half way home i noticed that my CO2 level was 75% and climbing even though i was surfaced.

I further noticed that the crew was still on their diving stations.

couldnt figure this one out, so i docked at Wilhelmshaven and ended the patrol.

CO2 icon remained apparent even while in the sub pen

Firts is a drivercrash imho. Might try updating or rolling back.

Second is the all to familiar CO2 bug, presumably caused by alt-tab while submerged. Haven't had it myself yet. :hmmm:

I wonder if the game is actually keeping track of when the sun is obscured by clouds (e.g. dynamic shadows falling over the ship?).

Seems to take effect inside the sub too (somebody already noted sun glints on the instrument panel dials can be seen.

Would this be the same thing I'm getting? Everything will be completely normal, then for no reason, the view goes black. All maps, icons, and interaction halos are still present and looking normal, but it's like looking out into a pitch black room. It does not seem to return to normal...I'll wait for a few minutes then reload my save. It's possible it could be related to sun/clouds...perhaps I should wait one out and see if it eventually returns to normal...
