Last night, the sluice gates at both ends opened up, and I have absolutely no appetite. I have a work-related meeting I'm supposed to be at at 1915, my time. I don't think I'm going to make it!!!

So, how has your day been going?

Crikey mate - keep an eye on that. If it doesn't drop - get to a doc asap.

Hope ya get to feeling better.

Well, I feel a bit loopy. I feel better, now, after having taken some meds.

Thanks!!

Now my temp is slightly over 99 F., which is just about normal. Still somewhat under the weather, but I feel so much better!!

Keep sipping liquids. Don't dehydrate. And crackers are always good till you can get some lite meals down.

Hope ya feel better mate. :yep:

I've been fighting a low level thing too so, misery has some company.

You know what's funny? I had three slices of bread and got HEARTBURN!!! It's probably connected to my illness in some way, but I thought that was strange, all the same.

Take it easy for a week or two. If body temperature goes over 102 - 104 Fahrenheit then you should contact a doctor. If it stays over 100 or around 100 for 5 + days then also contact a doctor. Some pain medicines will lower the temperature but on the other hand you need the fever because it gets rid of the whatever flu etc. is in your body. Fever is just a symptom.

And remember to drink, vitamin c is good, some believe in onion, garlic, honey, spicy food if you can eat...

Well, my temp is down to 99 F. I think I'm out of the woods.

I had an over almost overwhelming desire for orange juice when the illness first struck. I couldn't keep it down. But I'm (somewhat) better, now!! :D

You complain about 99-105 degrees?

Damn, what is this world coming to... Once I made it up to 112 and was still moving :DI think I would have put you down!:hmmm:

Wow. Under what circumstances did that happen? Did you go to the hospital?

102 is my "top score." And I did indeed feel like concentrated, pure fecal matter.

When I had my dose of swine flue I stayed at 103 for about 3 or 4 days and felt like death. I'm sure it got higher than that but only measured when I was awake.

My top temp was around 105, over 40 deg Celsius, had a high temp in the military.

Speaking of meds, in the military we had these meds that had a dose of caffeine and codeine in it. They packed a punch and were really good against hangovers. :D

Well, I felt well, today. I fought the urge to go for a run or bike ride, and was successful. I thought I just might get sick, again, if I did so.
