But even without the countless bugs we would not see Silent Hunter 5 rating in high regions. Conclusion: Silent Hunter 5 is the current state of the retail version unplayable over long distances.

The closest historical separately selectable missions succeed, since missions are completed, at least well written.

Yet they also suffer from AI misses, crashes, suddenly no longer selectable instruments and much more.

The best looking game that still works, since it at least the "FI" (friend-intelligence can leave).

Hopefully, Ubisoft Romania that - unlike in Part 4 - the worst mistakes quickly and rigorously weeds and not again until several months of community pressure is needed to remind the producers of his duties.

Until this is not done: Stay away from Silent Hunter 5!

Have to agree with that. I played for a while and found i spent most of my time going for refits. TDC kinda doesn't work for me. I miss about 70% of my targets. Maybe i'll get the hang of it someday. If this is the future of the SH series then i'll stick with SH3 and 4.
