Hi Guys:

Just thought I ask the question, once some cool mods are implemented such as upgrades like tmo, monsoon etc. how would we treat the ubisoft upgrades would that be a problem as we are adding mods ?, yes I caved in and bought it at a local ebgames but did not have the gold edition to bad, so no manual wonder if we can buy that or download it somewhere, thank you. DRM doesnt seem to be an issue yet.

It asks you if you want to install the update. It doesn't force you.

Change your shortcut. Ubi started this crap with SH4. The shortcut the iinstall puts on your desktop is to a gu.exe. Delete that and create a new shortcut directly to the sh5.exe file. That way, you run the autopatcher when you want to, not every damn time you start the game.

I don't think its a big issue at the moment. Not many mods are out and nothing sophisticated enough to be broken by a patch.

SH3 and 4 only had 2 or 3 patches. By the time decent SH5 mods are on the scene I think we will have had all the patches we are ever gonna have.
