Incredible, but I went to Omaha Beach, June 6, 1944, sinking 20 000 tonnes of ships and return home without damage !
The acoustic torpedo T IV and TV are fabulous.
Note that contrary to what is in the manual, there is no requirement that the target moves at a certain speed. Moreover, it can also works against a ship that has shut down its engines, in that case, the torpedo will follow the normal road.
You can also fired T4 and T5 without periscope extended, noises makes the job for you ! (but don't forget to stop your own engines !).
Wonderful.

Few pics.

Well, it's not tough enough then. There were several u-boats lost around that time, and the D-Day invasion force lost not one ship to u-boat attacks the entire month of June.

For sure Steve.
But note that I sank the 6 ships around the beach june 3, 1944 without opposition because it was probably a bug of Gold(watch here (http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=162637)).

I sank 2 hunters before D-Day in the channel.
Finally I sank only 3 hunters near the coast when I escape from Omaha.

It is correct like it Steve ?

(I'm an inconditionnel McGoohan'fan too. But I prefer him in "Secret Agent" aka "Danger man" aka "Destination danger" in french. Nice to meet a fan of PMcG))
