Dont understand that ! which should I do D2D has gold but never used

them before fast DLs? like Steam not sure OPs welcome Thanks

Well i believe its being released on dir2drive at 10am Pst west coast time of the united states. so me being in germany thats 6pm this evening. Reason i say this is thats the time bad company 2 is being released as it says it on the game page for bc2.

Looks like I'll settle with Gamersgate with a digital download. Their releasedate is the 3. which is tomorrow. A day earlier than getting it from the store in Oslo Norway with releasedate for March 4.

I have 10.000 blue coins lying around at Gamersgate, so that would shave of 4-5€ or so. I will have to buy extra blue coins for this to add up. Doesn't seem possible to pay with both money and blue coins.

Edit: Hrm, NOK Euro conversion is bad atm. It was 10,8 recently but now its up to 12.

I've bought from direct2drive and have had nothing but good experiences with them. OTOH I have nothing but negative experiences with Ubisoft, which may be the bigger problem, don't you think?

While I was out running errands, I stopped in at Best Buy, and lo and behold... they had it! I got the last copy at the store, but was surprised they had it all the same.

Back on the D2D vs Steam, I've used both for a number of games. If I had to chose between the two, I'd use D2D. I've never had any problems with "redownloading" games I've purchased. I had been using the "Release Candidate" version of Windows 7 (which expired on the first) so I had to do a "clean install" of a licensed version of Win7. When I was reloading some of my games from D2D, I was DLing at 1.2-1.5 mb/sec! That's the fastest I've ever seen a DL on my connection. Since it was DLing so fast, I started several others, and had 5 games DLing all at the same time. The slowest out of all of them with 5 DLing was running at about 500kb/sec.

If you want the disc, you might try some of your local "big Box" stores, they may have it. See ya on the Seas!! :arrgh!:

Steam says currently 2 hours till unlock. It's 23:50 in Spain, I guess it'll be midnight. I just hope it doesn't also cost 50 euros, or I'll damn have to wait an additional 8 days. :nope:

Ubisoft SH5 forum is in uproar..... say that if steam get it before they do they gonna spit the dummy etc.

So maybe ubi have asked steam not to enable it for download yet?

Nope, don't think so, because then, steam had time enough to set up the timer for one day more.
I think, the problem is, they don't have any price for the game added. Think they don't have it. :D

Steam store page now offline for me !
All I get is page error when trying to get in store, all other steam pages are working so I guess they got problems as well with this download.
What gets me angry is they have the cheek to put the time until ready up then when it counts down they do nothing!
Some people stay up just to start the download before going to bed ,if they got to work in the morning like me, they could have gone to bed hours ago.
Should not be allowed to put up false information like that.
Ok back up now but still no download so off to bed it is.
