Is ubi.com down for everyone else?

I wanted to look at release date for SHV on ubi.com--but it appears to be down. Can anyone else reach it?

I pre-ordered from the ubi digital store--and it still says "preordered" and not yet available. (store is online, but main ubi site seems offline?

I have my account page open right now , I've been watching some movies on hulu.com and refreshing the page every time a episode is over.

so far 7:22am on March 2nd still no SH5, says pre-ordered. release date is March 2nd.

Ubisoft front page is saying silent hunter is in stores but you still only can preorder it off their site. I guess I could go to a store but stores are scary.

Thats why i never pre-order.

I remember back when one of the IL2 expansions came out, and all the people who pre-ordered got it late (some by several days).. while everyone else just went to the store on release date and picked it up.

well on direct2drive bad company 2 is releasing at 10am PST In united states thats 6pm this evening here in germany i would think its the same for Sh5 well i hope it is anyway beats me why they dont release it at the stroke of midnight silly:damn:

Both D2D and UBI store seem to have the same download manager. Is D2D affiliated with UBI the way GamersGate is with Paradox?

Well, the pre-order link is now changed to download. Not that you can actually download it off Ubisoft. Click on the download button all you want but no cigar. Why would they change the link to download when the customer can't use it? :shifty:

What preorder means to:

The Customer: "I get my game first!"
The Company: "We get paid first!"

Since the Company already got paid, they are in no rush to actually release the product to you. :) Unlike retail stores where you don't give them money till they give you the product.
