I saw screenshots from the preview version (i think it was one of neals screenshots) of sh-5 which had a gangplank to the u-boat in the pens. But now with all the footage being released its nowhere to be found. Didnt it make it in the final version?

I think someone photoshopped it into one screenshot, just for fun. I'm pretty sure it was never really there.

It was also seen in screenshots from an official german preview. I really dont think they would photoshop screenshots.

Which ones? I never saw it except for that one picture, and it had some appropriate comment.

It was there in the official screenshots... it looked in some shots like it was super laser vision from the repair guy. A gang plank was definately there.

Okay. I stand corrected.

Actually I'm sitting right now, but you get the idea.:sunny:

I,m not sure it its a gangplank , It could also be a rope or something. Anyway its the 3rd picture from this preview.

Oh, yeah, the menu screen.

The picture I saw was a close-up.

Looks like gangplank to me. If you look veeeeery closely, I think you can make out railings on it too. :hmmm:

Yes, it looks like the repair guy is using his super laser vision to weld the hull up... was defenitely later revelaed as only a boring old gangplank (shown from the reverse angle), of the hemp rope and wood variety. Posted in this forum no less.

Ah, here we go, google search on 'laser weld vison' FTW:

Maybe someone who has the game can comment on this.

This is from the menu only. It's not like that in-game unfortunatly. So no gangplank.

Yes. I don't want you to take it as an offence, but I think your expectations for the game are too high, you may be disappointed.

I got absolutely no problem with OSP, no problem neither with loading and saving. But still, the game has issues.

From what I've experienced so far, it is better than SH3 and SH4 Vanilla.

I think the biggest mistake people could make is to compare SH5 with SH3 GWX 3.0

If you ask me what is the best simulation between SH5 vanilla and SH3 GWX 3.0, of course I would say SH3 with GWX 3.0

But if you ask me what is the best simulation between SH5 vanilla and SH3 vanilla, I would pick SH5 without a doubt.

No kidding ... And WHAT makes you think that? Only the eye candy? Or maybe the fact that you can pseudo-interact to a ghostly cook that is turning your back on a "well-planned" pattern?

I remember the last time I've tried SH3 vanilla, it had really a LOT of issues and I simply meant that SH5 still has issues but not to such extend. You don't believe me? I don't really care, period.

Stay chill, please, you don't have to use that big font, or it may be Freudian speaking a counter-measure to a thing that is small?
Of course, I was making reference to the font actually used in SH5 ...

You cared enough to make some sarcastic comment about what he said. Why are you trying to pick fights?

I wonder why for some of you stating your opinion means to "pick up a fight". And when I am treated with some particular manner, I tend to react in a similar way. I guess it's human.

If you first asked your question in polite matter, I would have replied in a polite matter as well.

BTW, I think I replied to Oscar politely.

This could be applied to anyone in soooo many examples, and maybe you should talk to FIREWALL about it?, anyway, ridiculous.

Very mature.
Whatever.

I wonder since i dont have the game yet if the menu screen where the u-boat has a gangplank just a still or is it a moving in FP? If so then why add it only to the menu?
