It looks a LOT like Arena.
Have you ever gotten into any other types of Chess ? I've started playing XiangQi and Shogi. Both are very challenging.

I know the rules of Chinese chess, but did not get into it. Also tried Go, but it's not my game. I am not too messy in Backgammon, and also like Abalone. But my main game is chess, with correspondence chess and analysis being my domain.
And Arena does not look that sweet. ;) I do not have the latest version 12 of the Fritz GUI, but I think their database copies that visual layout, from what I see on screenshots. I am still with Fritz 11 GUI and Fritz and Hiarcs engines.
