I am having problems hitting ships with my torpedo's, i am not using manual targating. I am missing with what should be auto targeting. Any help on how to shoot and hit torpedo's with the auto targeting would be a great help :)

Auto-targeting is no longer that auto.

You need to guesstimate the lead you need to put with the periscope on the target ship. Lock the ship, check map. Hope this (short description) makes sense.

It realy makes me sad how much they changed it :'( well i understand your discription wich is easy to do on short range but on long ranges its imposible lol :p

If you can Guesstimate the lead, you don't need "Auto Targeting"

If you can do manual tageting, you don't need "Auto Targeting"

Surprising. i would`ve thought it more arcade. Which means it caters to the realism\mature crowd. Good news. But it surprises me that they expect the more realism\mature crowd to accept such a draconian 24\7 DRM system. We tend to resist these things on principle better than the arcade crowd.

I don't think they thought about Silent Hunter V or it's community at all when designing DRM. It simply fell under "all our games".

Well of all the Crap the haters have spewed about SHV I think out of them all they might of actually got that Draconian part right according to some that already have it.
