Todays "Health Care Summit" sure accomplished alot.
After a brief period of consultation following the White House health reform summit, congressional Democrats plan to begin making the case next week for a massive, Democrats-only health care plan, party strategists told POLITICO.
A Democratic official said the six-hour summit was expected to “give a face to gridlock, in the form of House and Senate Republicans.”
Democrats plan to begin rhetorical, and perhaps legislative, steps toward the Democrats-only, or reconciliation, process early next week, the strategists said.

It was merely a precurser to Democrats attempting to ram their bill through using procedures their leaders (Obama and Reid INCLUDED) have previously condemned using quite harsh rhetoric.
These are the people we've elected. Disgusting.

I managed to catch the end where in a way Obama basically said that if the opposition did not concede and help get some bill passed soon he would just ram is through and if the voters do not like it, "thats what elections are for" That last part about elections is a direct quote from the dictator himself.
Pelosi , Reid are disgusting but obama is the most disgusting of all. That's what elections are for, yea obama and company will find out about elections soon, but not soon enough.:damn:
lol@ your quote Aramike, cant believe that racist woman is on SCOTUS.

If you are familiar with Europe’s Islam-Diaspora, then you know that not just Islamists dream of an Islamic, Sharia-ruled Europe, but that orthodox Muslims dream of that as well, and that they count Europe as House of Islam/Dar al-Islam due to the demographic Islamisation. - Bassam Tibi
Thats basically what is happening to the US just with Mexicans instead of Muslims (well havent heard the mexicans demanding everyone become catholic but still) and it is sad that its happening to both because it could be stopped because has caused nothing but problems. That is not racism, just the truth.

Let'S keep Islamic djihad and Mexicans' migration what it are: two very different things. Mexicans' motives do not compare to that of Islamic ideology.

THE MAN IS AN EMPTY BOX
sooner or later American's need to wake up and get rid of both parties.
the only way to take the nation in a new direction is to bring in a new party.
bouncing back and forth between the same two parties every few years aint gonna do it

Since when does a mind numbingly boring debate screened live on a wide selection of channels become a deafening silence?

Health care is certainly important... but I'm a lot more worried about how this nation is supposed to pay off it's INSANELY HUGE DEBTS. :o
We should be a lot more concerned about the debt, man. The bottom line is money, money, money. It greases every component of the machine, and the United States machine is leaking that grease everywhere. It leaked like a sieve even when the debt wasn't so massive.
I'd mentioned somewhere before that the President should seriously consider talking to Richard Branson about our national debt. Why? Richard Branson, the CEO of Virgin, knows to pay back his debts. His companies are making a profit because Richard Branson is responsible. Show me a CEO or any thick-skulled politician in the United States with as much moxie.

I acknowledged while the "invasion" of our countries are different, they both have already had consequences and will have even more at some point.Illegals from Mexico etc, many of them already hardened criminals come here and murder, steal, rape etc Many of them both good and bad, but still all together bad because they are uneducated and lack any real skills to further the country so they just exist on taxes. You know I graduated college last year and am working my first real job at a law firm, they taxes they already take out are unreal.I plan on attending Law School in the fall.I work hard and should be able to enjoy my life without high taxes to pay for these people or without having them create so many problems. Many go on to have children that become anchor babies and further suck our system dry via welfare, attending public schools etc sad thing is the US govt could actually stop it but it might make us look harsh so they do not.Typical Liberal bs is oh they just want a better life, well if you are not born here and do not legally come here, too bad, you stay where you are at and make the best of your situation.Maybe our govt will wake up soon and save us before its too late.
The problem in the UK from what I see is many move there and take advantage of the system then think because so many live there, the UK should be an islamic nation.I have read about this etc The arrogance of many Muslims even so called "moderates" is unreal. They want a Islamic state? Plenty of those, go back and leave the UK alone.
So yes, different problems but same in the sense both have serious consequences for both countries. This is what bleeding heart Liberalism gets you.Yes I know G W Bush was not against it but because he would not risk offending the hispanic population. Was hoping in his second term since he didnt have to face reelection he would but guess not.

This being a quote from a person who has never actually lived under a dictatorship, and still does not live under one- nor is likely to.
