I like the sound of this invention!!!!:yeah:

If it could pop up road spikes for street races and hoons I'd want one for my street!:D

looks like it is filled with some sort of non newtonian fluid... clever :|\\

That's a speed bump worth driving over. :DL

I like the idea. Will be interesting to see how the fluid reacts at different temperatures as well as impact speeds.:hmmm:

Mind you there are some vehicles that it will still be a challenge for:

Try this for fun, mix equal parts water and corn starch. Try to mix it fast and try to mix it slow ;)

I'm assuming this works on the same principal... clever.

yep, should be exactly the same principle, the same thing is also being applied to ballistic protection with potential for making a full body suit resistant to 7.62x53mm and equivalents while being flexibleand not as bulky as current generation vests offering a similar level of protection for a smaller surface area.

Hmm, I'd love to see this in action. I can't count the times I've going 25-30 in a neighborhood and didn't notice the speedbump 'til I hit it full force lol

We don't need speed bumps here... Our roads test even the best off road vehicles. Our roads look better than the moon scape... :haha: Low, med or fast speed doesn't matter.. Your vehicle will brake..:D

Best part is the government got wise and made a law that there not responsible for the accidents or damages you suffer on there roads.. :nope:

Hoon is a derogatory term used in Australia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Australia) and New Zealand (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Zealand) to refer to a younger person who engages in loutish, anti-social behaviour. In particular, it is used to refer to one who drives in a manner which is anti-social by the standards of contemporary society, that is, fast, noisily or dangerously. While generally applied to automobiles (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Automobiles) and other road vehicles, anti-hooning legislation also targets hooning behavior wherever it occurs, including motor boats. Hoon activities can include speeding (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Speed_limit), burnouts (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burnout_%28vehicle%29), doughnuts (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doughnut_%28driving%29) or screeching tires (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tire).[1] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hoon#cite_note-0) Those commonly identified as being involved in "hooning" or street racing are young, predominantly male although increasingly female drivers in the age range of 17 and 35 years.

Reminds me of the days when I delivered pizza... but I wasn't puttering along at 25-30. :timeout:

To bad it doesn't have sound. Like a giant Whoopie cushion. :haha:

:rotfl2: That might make speedbumps so much more fun to drive over. Kids would love it, no doubt. :DL

Given the state of our roads, and how others drive, it's almost a requirement! Just that the speeds rarely get over 35 kph!

Good God man, you people drive slow! :haha:
