I'm new here since stumbling into the Silent Hunter4 from my son. I'm pensioned captain in the Royal Swedish Navy and absolutely hooked up ever since... Krok = hook. I've really enjoyed this fantastic simulator, as close to reality as it can get!
Be careful out there!

Yes it is a great game. Especially for us older folk who like a challenging game with a slow pace . Cheers sober out .

Say WHAT??? Slow Pace? Challenging for us older folk? :o
Wow...so, that says I'm not alone... that's a relief...hehehe!!!
Is that why I liked to play Splinter Cell? Slow pace yet challenging? Hmmm..makes me wonder... :06:
@ Kapten (K@apten) Krok!
Welcome to the ship sinking business! Subsim is a great community!!!
P.S.: Don't be so stealthy. Tell us how your patrols are turning out.

... a kind feeling on this ship
Back no on board after a week on other missions, thank God I survived! Yesterday I started to learn about these mods (modifications?) and how to install them with the JSGME. Amazing to see all the work being put into this to make a good sim even more beautiful.
Now I'm taking off to see if the floaters have disappeared and I can find something to sink!
