OH MY GOD!!!!

Sir, I had one of those periscopes in my tree house when I was a kid. I have always wondered where it came from, my dad found it a some video game grave yard. We extended the tube for a longer more real length, and had a pulley system with weights to help it go up and down. Oh, it was the best toy in town.

Thanks for showing that! Now I know where it came from.

Sorry I don't have it any more but thanks for the picture.

Actually that's a Landing Ship Dock (LSD). I don't think there ever was a ship called an LCD.

Thats one sweet looking maching right there!

My first recollection of computer games is actually playing Das Book at my Amiga 500. Must have been in the late eighties and I always ended up running to make it to primary school, the game was so fashinating! I fired up that game recently with dosbox and it sucked bigtime....I must have had amazing imagination back then! Then again I probably will laugh at myself again 20 years from now.
Then again...I still cant leave early enough to acually walk to school. Now its medschool, any doctors around here? :ping:

:haha: Thanks for the trip down memory lane! I also gave up plenty of cash playing that video game as a young teen... Man, I'm starting to feel old again... just don't look in the mirror, don't look in the mirror and it will be alright... :)
