Unarmed merchant depends on what mods you're running and time of the war.
Most large freighters are armed at some point.
The only one I can think of that is not armed most of the time is the Contra Verdi liner, Huge European Liner in stock I think. 18,000 tons big enough?

Just to clarify I'm making a mission where I destroy a ship at point blank range, without being attacked. Is there any way to make a drone like in the Ops Monsoon mod?
