I'm still getting random threads where I'm told I rated it as one star, but I never did honest! Also, the site has stopped remembering for me what threads I have looked at (even ones I created). I couldn't see any posts relating to this, so I hope this is the right place for it.

Same here.
Every thread that has been rated is indicated as if I had rated it already and a lot of threads have new posts but aren't marked that way so that I have to check a lot of threads manually for new posts.

So does mine and still has since the first attempt with Neal looking into it. Odd glitch for sure.

One other thing I have noticed is that some threads appear to be locked, but without a mod saying 'I'm locking this because...' and when looking at those threads, there doesn't seem to be another bad in them. Some time later they un-lock. Seems like the database is become de-synchronised.

EDIT: Like this one:

Maybe that one was locked because it's a duplicate, but I'd think a mod would say something in it, or merge it.

It was a duplicate. With people pointing that out and posting links to the other one, maybe the moderator didn't feel any explanation was necessary. Besides, it had just started. I'm sure that if there were actual discussions there, it would have been merged.

Perhaps a brief note 'duplicate - locked' would suffice. There are quite a few quirks on subsim atm and would be nice to know for sure :). Usually the mods do this.

Yeah. I've been logged out four times today.

This is what happens to me also.

Yeah. I've been logged out four times today.

I think the idle time has been reduced for inactive users to a much smaller value - I think there was some problem with the 'active users' (captains aboard) listing and this may have been an attempted fix to reduce the load. I used to really like not having to login all the time, like with other forums .

To the time it takes to type a post?

Depends how long you spend thinking about what you type :DL.
