Wowh. Well said. Every leader in Western nations should listen, and do accordingly. They all talk about it, but do so without truly knowing whom they are really up against. That way, as the Colonel puts it, they are chasing their tails, running in circles like crazy, but getting nowhere - while losing all.

Who is this Col. West, is he a known figure in America? Not only what he says but also how he says it gives me the impression of a very intelligent man, a person of integrity.

I googled the name, and found some info about him. He definitely seems to be one of the better political contenders in the US. The attacks on him due to the controversial decision he made regarding that Iraqi police officer I cannot understand, and thus do not join. IMO the story is another thing speaking out in favour of the man - not against him.

I haven't a clue who Col. West is, but I do like his clarity and knowledge of the subject. The point I was able to draw from his answer is,

"It is what it is, what it always has been, and that is what we are up against".

If we don't understand the subject material, we don't understand our enemy.

Sums it up nicely for me; a lot better than the previous administrations 'Axis of Evil' buzzphrase. :)

Yeah, simple war crimes, military crimes and civil crimes are just too complicated.
