Jason Graves is the musician working on SH5.

He is the author of SH4 music also, and of Dead Space also. IMO, that is good news.

I thought that some of the music on one of the videos was familiar, now I know why. At first I figured the composer was just imitating the music from Silent Hunter 4 but it's the same person, which makes the small tweaks on the theme even better. I love it when little themes like this evolve from game to game.

Speaking of music -- does any one know who did the music for SHIII?
Only reason that I ask is I swear that one of the songs from the Valkyrie soundtrack, "What's This Really About?" is lifted from the SH3 main menu screen. The intro on the Valkyrie song is almost dead on to SH3...

That's because currently all preview versions use SH4's soundtrack (placeholders), we don't know yet how it will sound in retail SH5.
