Strategically Adelaide is in a good position for it. I'm not sure how keen the yanks are on the idea yet though.

Watching the video was a-bit nerve wracking.
No. Not do to the content.
When are you folks going to learn to drive on the Right Side of the road?
It's scarey watching cars pass on the Wrong Side, or come at one from the Wrong Side when attempting to cross a street.
And you have to shift with the Left Hand? C'mon guys, give the world a break.
(Do as you like in your own land, but be advised, it scares the hell out of the rest of us.)

There is no wrong side of the road... just make sure that the driver' side of the car is nearest the center stripe.
unless of course your steering wheel is on the wrong side of the car. :03:

I once had to drive a US Army Dodge truck across the width of England. Talk about nerve racking! The worst was making turns at T intersections. My brain kept telling me to stay to the left while every fiber of my being wanted to stay right.

Now that's not a very nice thing to call folks who saved you from the Japanese... :DL
:har: Saved? Us? :har: More like invaded. :D
It was coined by as cockney rhyming slang during WWI, I believe because of the perceived similarity between the two objective nouns. i.e.; They are both full of excrement.:D
It was then adopted in Australia during the WWII invasion and shortened to it's more common form over here; Seppo.

War? No, Americans and Australians could never go to war against each other. It'd be like shooting at our own selves.

I think it works because we're both children of the British Empire, and we both have a big enough sense of humor to see ourselves as full of crap as well.
As Paul Hogan once said: "You and we are exactly the same. You lot just got out ahead of the boat!"

Yep or in the immortal words of the great American bard John Winger:
"We're all very different people. We're not Watusi. We're not Spartans. We're Americans, with a capital 'A', huh? You know what that means? Do ya? That means that our forefathers were kicked out of every decent country in the world. We are the wretched refuse. We're the underdog. We're mutts! Here's proof: his nose is cold! But there's no animal that's more faithful, that's more loyal, more loveable than the mutt."

Also the bath or the tub, depending on the context used but I reckon your right on this one.
Knowing TJ though, there could be another context :DL

Funny you should mention that. The instant I saw the picture I was taken back to 1990.
A friend of mine was aquainted with one of the museum guys at our local air force base, and we go asked to go through their immense model collection and identify all the different planes, as the cards with them had gotten all mixed up. We matched the correct card to each model, and wrote the names in magic marker on the bottom of the wings so it couldn't happen again. Several of the models either had lost their cards or never had them to begin with.
We impressed them quite well with our knowledge, and identified every single plane without having to look them up. Except one. We scratched our heads, went back to our respective homes and poured through our books until we found the
FAIREY GANNET!
My father was a killick AE in the RAN back when the Gannet was in service. He actually maintained the aircraft in the photo in my sig.
The photo was taken in December 09 when I visited the Fleet Air Arm Museum in Nowra.
