Hasn't been a whole lot of good news coming out of Afghanistan in a while. Hopefully they will be able to take Marjah and hold onto it. :up:

In the other news, NATO's ops to take Helmland is going veeeery well. Officials say 27 Taliban fighters killed, 12 civilian deaths in one (1) rocket strike alone.

Hearts and minds people, hearts and minds. :03:

PS. Has anyone kept count on how many "top commanders" have already been captured/killed? It has to be somewhere at around 50 by now. :haha:

I guess in the Post-Viet Nam world, body counts are not PC, so in order to motivate the people we have to promote the janitors and drivers we kill :shifty:

"Well kick the broom out of his hands and we will call him the Number 2 guy"

How many times are we going to kill the "Number 2 guy" when we never hear reports of us killing the "Number 3" or "Number 4 guy"?

The enemy sure ain't going to tell us that we are wrong. From their viewpoint if the Americans think they killed our number 2 guy, let em!

Just once I want to read a report where we killed the Number 4 guy. Just for the variety. ;)
