PS. Information acquired from the photos can and must be used to send me beer and women with loose sexual habits. Thank you.

I think he's gonna need some time to calculate the minimum acceptable cupsize-to-psychosis ratio before he answers.

After much deliberation, I can't think of any way to ship both beer and womynz to Finland. The beer would probably be okay when it got there... :D

so which of the two local landmarks is best? The back-up looks nicer from the outside but maybe the barmaid in the primary is better?:hmmm:

The first one definitely. :yep: The other one is more for them sad drunkards and yes, the first one has hotter barmaid. :haha: But then again, you get great burgers from the second one, so my path usually goes from the first to the second, have a beer or two there while waiting for my burger and then head towards home.

I still cant understand why the two are so close together and better yet if you decide to go to the "clubs", there's 3 withing 200 meters for crying out loud. :har:

Re: the swing, I LOVE IT! During the summer, sun shines to the "backyard" pretty much whole day, so nothing better than get mates together and sit down to have a cold one. :yeah:

I live in...well...the boonies. GoogleMaps couldn't find my house in all the corn. :D

@Weiss Pinguin Her eyes are too close together for my tastes, or I'd ask you to send her my way. I got a friend in high school who needs a date for prom :haha:

EDIT: it's not in streetview. BUT
it is in the overhead...and there is something strange.
see for yourself. the A is covering up my driveway

No Street view for me; I'm out in the sticks.
There was a photo taken close to me on google maps tho. I walk past there occasionally.

Found my current pad, and some previous ones. Pretty sneaky those Google people. What next, live feed outside my window? :stare::)

Letum,

pretty lush looking forest in your pic, and hills. Pretty surprised to see that type of landscape in England. Never been to York though.

I found some Street Views of my pad and... well, I'd rather share a place where I used to live. It's a happier place.

Some backstory:

I spent way more time there than I did at home, on my mountain bike, crashing into thorn bushes and falling down hills. :D

And away we go!

http://i916.photobucket.com/albums/ad10/krashkart/th_home01.jpg (http://s916.photobucket.com/albums/ad10/krashkart/?action=view&current=home01.jpg)

The "A" mark used to be the location of a Civil War-era barracks. I don't know the history of it, though. Nowadays the land is used for flood control.

http://i916.photobucket.com/albums/ad10/krashkart/th_home02.jpg (http://s916.photobucket.com/albums/ad10/krashkart/?action=view&current=home02.jpg)

Same place, just a bit north to show a little more of my old stomping grounds. Marker "B" is the barracks cemetary. If I remember right, none of the names are visible on the headstones anymore. Weather and time erased them.

http://i916.photobucket.com/albums/ad10/krashkart/th_civwarcemetary.jpg (http://s916.photobucket.com/albums/ad10/krashkart/?action=view&current=civwarcemetary.jpg)

Closer view of the cemetary. I figure the barracks must have served as a prison at one time. Never spent a lot of time there.

Mostly just tore myself up on the trails until I could no longer move. Then I'd rest and take in the view, till the light began to withdraw.

I like how i see people with bicycles, that's become rare over here. Everyone should leave their car at home and ride a bike!

We have four bikes here at home... Unfortunately they're all rusting in the garage cuz we take our Suburban everywhere

@Kiwi

The town is small-ish, so you can get around in a bicycle pretty well. :yep:

Fine! :stare: :DL

No, seriously, apart from the skiing trails that are littering the woods, there's really nothing else. :hmmm:

TBH, the whole town is damn boring, Stora Enso is shutting down their factory soon, so that'll be the last blow for this town. :-?

Well... we kinda have our own Golden Gate bridge as far as suiciding goes, people tend to like to jump off it from time to time.

Well, okay, that's believable. :DL

The ski trails might be useful for biking, though? I dunno. I need to get out of the Midwest and back to my mountains. :wah:

Some of the less used ones propably would be suitable, there was one pretty narrow trail near where I used to live as a kid with lots of roots and downhills and stuff on the trail. :yep:

Hehe. Shame on that zoom feature! :D

Reminds me of a bridge we used to drive over on the way to Gramma's place. It spans over a very deep canyon, sheer walls on both sides. Evel Knievel tried to jump that canyon back in the 70's. He ended up swimming briefly in the Snake River. Anyway, that bridge is a favorite of the local jumpers. They get plenty of time to rethink their choices. It is a looong way down. :hmmm:
