I've had increasing trouble accessing the site in recent weeks then I found out today that everybody else could access the site without problem while I couldn't at all. I received server time out error.

I managed to access the site through tor but that now no longer work too

I ran tracert and this is the result

My IP is dynamic so I don't think they could ban my IP and friend with the same ISP had no trouble accessing twcenter.net

The most disturbing fact is they did this without noticing me. Well at least they know what they're doing is unethical.

I suspect it's my critical signature that got me banned. And I suspect that an influential member in twcenter.net probably asked me to be banned. Or a moderator there is the one who sent me death threat letters through various forum PM and he felt upset because everytime I reported the PM his user name was banned but he only registered to send me the death threats anyway. Too many possibilities I know but it just sucks.

I believe the precise words is I've been censored out :nope:

Of interesting note how the ping slowed significantly at the second singtel router which is Singapore's govt telecommunication company...I don't know what happens there but it surely takes a long time there perhaps my traffic as expected being monitored and recorded. Actually all traffic is monitored and recorded even in US so I watch in tv. There is a room in AT&T internet hub that record internet traffic coming in and out of US the room is operated by intelligence agency. Saw it in a documentary in television.

Anyway I don't care I'm just upset why I can't access twcenter.net

Your being blocked from accessing certain sites? Maybe they see subsim as some big western conspiracy site :DL. In the paper other day some of our major ISP have had the same problem with their customers, sites they visit on a daily basis are blocked where all of the sites are based in the USA. This is cause the ISP connect to some Asian provider first and that provider has started blocking sites. There's nothing they can do about it atm. Its like they are targeting the big companies here like Telecom and Slingshot are the only one's affected by the blocking.

I'm with a small isp company so far so good.

Hi Frank it's not ISP it's ONLY me my other friends even with the same ISP has no problem accessing the site. So does friends who use different local ISP. So I guess now they block certain machine instead of the whole country from accessing.

I believe you can easily get around this by spoofing which is changing your mac address. It is easy to do as there is free software on the net. I would start by changing the mac address on your nic which is your ethernet card, and if you connect wirelessly change the mac on your wireless card.

Perhaps someone on the site will chip in and offer additional help with changing other identifiable markers inside the PC itself.

If you are connected through a cable modem that mac can not be changed legally, so your out of luck but could take the modem back to your ISP and exchange it for another if the one you have got fried somehow........

What's twcenter.net? :06: EDIT: Ah, ok, gaming site.

Did you try changing your signature? Can I let you in on a secret, Castout? Forums, especially busy ones, are run by people, and sometimes people make just get tired of dealing with troublemakers. I am NOT saying you are a troublemaker, ok? I don't think we've ever had a problem here at Subsim with you (although I once got the names Castout and Contact mixed up ). But maybe someone over there decided it's easier to shut you out than work with you to fit in.

I don't see Castout in their roster, what's your handle there?

Again, just a thought, mate. Don't take it personally, I can honestly say you are ok, here.

Yea I'm with cable modem thanks for the information. I guess they block my MAC modem address.

There's no guarantee that they would lift the ban on me even after I change my signature that's how these people work if they made their intention clear they would notify me earlier about their objection on my sig but they didn't they just simply wanted me censored either way. I never talk about anything I strongly believe it's just my sig.

Thanks Neal I do feel welcome here and I appreciate subsim allowing me space for my rather controversial and confusing sig.

I can live without twcenter.net not that I use any mod for ETW or will for Napoleon either.

And umm I go by the nick miracles in there but nonetheless should be visible by my more or less the same signature

You can always try and contact them via email and ask why you got banned.

If it was your sig, then just take it out. Twcenter is a game forum, not politics. As have been given as reason for some of my sigs that had to go "There's other boards here than just the GT".

If you arent willing to accept the fact that some people go there to read and post about what they consider fun (the TW games) without having to deal with politics, then that's your loss.

Most likely it's an issue with an ISP somewhere along the line. Things get funky out here in the Midwest when the Big Weather closes in, for instance. Just means a node went down somewhere and the rest of the system is straining a bit to take up the additional load. Like any other structure, really.

Check back over there when you're able to get your next connection. ;)

Thanks Kashkart I will...just funny why everybody else are able to access the site just fine even people with the same ISP and who live within less than 1 mile from me have no trouble accessing the site. I could also access the site through my cellphone internet. I could access the site through tor network too.

Hope it's just ISP problem. It wasn't always blocked before. It started when twcenter.net seemed to have started to be down at some time during the day and it ended with complete inaccessibility now.

No I'm still unable to load the page.

I'm beginning to be convinced I'm shut. They got my MAC address(see the site and IP where I was blocked in my first post). TWcenter may not necessarily block me out but that IP does. Other people could load the page just fine including those with the same ISP as me. I could even load the page through my mobile set but I don't have unlimited data plan.

I've heard that yahoo message boards have also closed down after Singapore's PM went to the headquarter of yahoo USA. Now you can't find a political message board for any country aside from North America and UK now.
